I love this recipe. I call it Chicken Mac. It takes a little while to cook, but it's really easy to prepare and its SO yummy.

3 cups uncooked elbow macaroni

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

3-4 skinless chicken breasts cooked and diced

2 cans condensed cream of chicken soup

2 cups milk

1 tsp salt

Heat oven to 350. Stir together all the ingredients; pour into ungreased casserole dish. Cover and bake 1 hour. Enjoy! In n,eed of kid friendly recipes I have 3 boys: 10, 7,%26amp; 5 all love to cook?
No such thing as kid friendly food.

Step 1) Cook food.

Step 2) Make your children eat it.

Step 3) If step 2 fails because your children won't eat it, Don't give them food.

Step 4) Repeat steps 1-2 then next day.

But any recipe works. I sauteed mushrooms in red wine for the first time when I was 6. Just teach them, they will learn. Or do the ';hard parts'; yourself
My favorite growing up was English Muffin Pizzas. They are really easy to make and don't take much time (which is a big deal with kids)

Cut the muffins in half, add any kind of sauce from a jar that you get at the store, add cheese and any other kind of toppings (try getting Perdue Short Cuts chicken, comes diced and already cooked.)

Have the 10 year old put them in the toaster oven (if you have one) for about 5 mins!!
make sugar cookies with them thats fun. they can cut them with the cookie cutter and decorate them. try www.kraftfoods.com they have good kid ideas. www.foodnetwork.com also has recipes for cooking wih kids.
I love allrecipes.com. They have loads of recipes for all sorts of occasions and cooking levels.

Ali B also has a point. . .
butter and grill a slice of bread after you cut a hole out of the center. Butter the hole, cook an egg. We called it egg in the hole.
