I have a boneless bottom roundsteak and i have no idea how to cook it. Any recipe ideas?

Whenever I see round steak, I always think of ';Swiss Steak';.

Swiss Steak

Ingredients:

1-1/2 to 3 pounds of round steak (about 1 inch thick)

1/3 cup flour

2 large onions, sliced

2 tablespoons fat

1-1/2 teaspoons salt

1/8 teaspoon black pepper

1 clove garlic, cut fine

1 stalk celery, diced

1-1/2 cups canned tomatoes

1/2 cup water

1/2 green pepper, sliced

chopped parsley Lay the meat on a breadboard and sprinkle both sides with the flour. Using a mallet, pound the flour into the steak on both sides. The flour will become absorbed into the steak. Sauté the onions in oil and remove from pan. Add the meat to the pan and brown well on both sides. This will take about 10-20 minutes. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Place the peppers, tomatoes, garlic, celery and the sautéed onions over the steak. Cover the pan and simmer for about 1-1/2 hours or until tender. Serve over noodles, rice or mashed potatoes. Garnish with parsley. Serves 4-6, depending on the amount of beef you use. (You can add sliced carrots and potatoes to the pan during the last 45 minutes of cooking) Great way to use cheaper cuts of beef and saveI have a boneless bottom roundsteak and i have no idea how to cook it. Delicious %26amp; Easy Crockpot Beef Roast

1 chuck or rump Beef Roast (sized for your crockpot)

½ Cup of Water

1 Packet of Ranch Dressing Mix

1 Packet of Italian Dressing Mix

1 Packet of Brown Gravy Mix

Put roast in crockpot, pour water around the base. Sprinkle all 3 dry seasoning packets over roast. Cover and cook for 6-7 hours on low. Remove roast to cutting board and let sit 15 minutes; slice thinly across the grain. This makes great tasting gravy too!I have a boneless bottom roundsteak and i have no idea how to cook it. My favorite and easiest way to make it really is round steak and gravy.

* 2-3 lbs round steak or 6-8 pork chop

* 1 (1 1/2 ounce) package onion soup mix

* 1/4 cup water

* 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup

Cut steak into 5 or 6 serving pieces. Place in a slow cooker.

Add dry onion soup mix, water and condensed mushroom soup. Cover and cook on low 6-8 hours or on high about 4-5 hours.

If making the pork chops, brown in oil and then put some of the sauce on the bottom of a 9x13 pan, then layer pork chops and add more sauce. Then bake for an hour and a half at 350.

you can aslo do this on the stove top. cut your meat into serving size pieces. dredge in flour and brown in a bit of oil, add the rest of your ingredients. Bring to a boil the lower heat to simmer covered tightly with lid. You want to cook it at the lowest heat, or it will be tough.

Make some mashed potatoes and serve with green beans or peas
you could make stroganoff...

16-24 oz. bottom round steak, cut into bite-size pieces

1 sm. jar sliced mushrooms

1 can cream of mushroom soup

1 lg. container sour cream

1 sm. onion, minced

1 tsp. nutmeg

Brown beef with minced onion and mushroom juice and dash of salt. Add mushrooms and soup. Bring to a simmer and fold in sour cream until fluffy blended. Sprinkle with nutmeg and simmer for 15-20 minutes. Serve over rice.

Hope this helps! =)
Brown it then put it in a pressure cooker with carrots, onions, garlic and tomatoes, bring pressure up on high, then reduce heat to medium for about 40 minutes. It will be fork tender and delicious over egg noodle or rice and a little tabasco sauce.
