Am cooking a cake recipe says to put in over set at 180 deg. my oven is fan forced, so what should it be set at. I need to know when cooking if the recipe says cook in oven at 180 deg. what if the oven is fan forced.?
You should keep the same temperature. The convection ovens just reduce the cooking time by 30% on average. If the recipe called to bake it at a given temperature for one hour (60 minutes), in a convection oven just bake it for 42 minutes.
