I need to cook dinner tonight and I need a new recipe! Any suggestions?

I would like to cook something different for dinner. Not in the mood for pizza or mexican food. Any good suggestions or recipes???????I need to cook dinner tonight and I need a new recipe! Any suggestions?
Chicken Roll-Ups





I - 1 1/2 cups cooked chicken, shredded - or 1 - 2 cans of chicken


1-2 tubes of croissant rolls


1 stick of butter, melted


1 cup crushed corn flakes


8 oz. cream cheese


1 can cream of chicken soup


1/4 cup sour cream





In a bowl, mix chicken and cream cheese. Unroll the croissants on a cookie sheet and place 1-2 TBSP of the chicken mixture into the middle of each one. Roll up the croissants and tuck the ends. Dip each roll into the butter, and then coat with crushed corn flakes. Bake in the oven for 12 minutes on 350, or until they are golden brown. Mix sour cream and cream of chicken soup in a microwave safe dish, and heat. Pour over chicken rolls.I need to cook dinner tonight and I need a new recipe! Any suggestions?
how about stir-fry. i helped me mom make it. it has green pepper,shrimp,rice and a mix of different seasonings in it.
SHEPHERDS PIE (POOR MANS PIE)





1 lb. ground beef


1 can peas


1 can sweet corn


1 medium onion, diced


1/3 c. sugar


8 medium potatoes


2 c. shredded sharp cheddar cheese





Boil potatoes, mash and season to taste with milk and butter.


Brown ground beef and onion with salt and pepper. When cooked, add peas, corn, sugar. Let simmer until heated through.





In 13x9 pan place meat and vegetable mixture in bottom of pan. Cover with mashed potatoes and sprinkle cheese on top.





Place in oven on BROIL until cheese is bubbly or light brown.
Try slicing 4 potatoes and covering them with cream of mushroom soup(dilute the soup with a can of milk)place 4 pork chops on top and bake at 400 .,1 hour.mmm mmm good.(uncovered)
CHIKEN POT PIE:





INGREDIENTS


4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves


1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup


2 (15 ounce) cans mixed vegetables, drained


1 recipe pastry for a 9 inch single crust pie





DIRECTIONS


Boil or steam the chicken breasts until done. Dice.


Mix together undiluted soup, canned vegetables, and diced chicken. Pour mixture into pie shell, and cover with the second crust. Crimp the edges, and make slits in the top crust.


Bake at 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) for 45 minutes, or until crust is golden brown.





EGG DROP SOUP:





INGREDIENTS


2 (14.5 ounce) cans chicken broth


1 tablespoon cornstarch


1 egg, lightly beaten


2 tablespoons chopped green onion





DIRECTIONS


In a medium stock pot, slowly heat chicken broth and cornstarch. Stir constantly until thickened.


Pour beaten egg into soup and stir once around stock pot very gently, in order to break up egg.


Remove soup from heat immediately, divide into four portions and garnish with green onions.





MASHED POTATOES:





INGREDIENTS


6 medium russet potatoes, peeled and cubed


1/2 cup warm milk


1/4 cup butter or margarine


3/4 teaspoon salt


Dash pepper





DIRECTIONS


Place potatoes in a saucepan and cover with water. Cover and bring to a boil; cook for 20-25 minutes or until very tender. Drain well. Add milk, butter, salt and pepper; mash until light and fluffy.





A good appetizer is Brie cheese (broil in oven at 375 degresse on top rack- melt) put it on triscut crackers! its delicious!!
How about stuffed potato?You can make a baked potato and stuff it with cheese,spinach,and other things.

Beef Stew.


1kg (2lb) Beef Steak.


25g (1 oz.) Flour.


S%26amp;P.


Oil.


2 Sliced onions.


1 Beef Oxo cube.


Cup boiling water.


4 Diced Potatoes.


1 Diced Carrot.


1 Diced Turnip.





Remove fat from beef and cut into bite sized pieces and rolled in seasoned flour. Brown in batches in the oil and place in a pot.


Fry off the onions and add to meat.


Add the stock cube and water and scrape all of the good bits from the fry pan and add to the meat and onions.


Stir together and bring to the boil. Reduce heat and d simmer for 2 hours.


Add diced vegetables 陆 hour before serving.
