add salt pepper, and slather with garlic powder, put butter in a hot skillet and drop steak do not move or turn for about 4-6 minutes then turn it over and do the same. Best flavor a steak can get

now drop a piece of bleu cheese on the top just a minute before you remove the steak from the heat. MMMMMMM good!Whats some good ways of cooking steaks??? Gimme sum recipes plz!?
Homemade rub: Garlic powder, onion powder, seasoned salt, coarse ground black pepper, celery salt. About 1 teas. each, maybe 1/2 teas. black pepper. If you don't use all the rub at one grilling, save it for the next time. It keeps well.

Thaw steak first if frozen, rub the above rub well on the steak, both sides, of course. Let sit at room temp for about 20 minutes. Reapply more rub if you desire.

Cook on a hot grill. Depending on rare, medium rare, medium, medium well or well done depends on your individual taste. Also, cooking time depends on the thickness of the steaks.

For medium (a little pink inside), for a 1'; steak, about 5 min. each side. Use a finger to press the steak in the middle. If it's too soft, give it another minute on each side.

This rub was my Mom's years ago and it is so darn good. Good luck.
I just made this one last night- its so good!!!

I don't know your boring way as you say to cook your steak but as for me I am a cook at a retreat center, and all you need to do is get creative. For many meats it is how fast you do it, the slower you cook beef steak the tougher it gets. My favorite way is thaw it out fast in cold water, never use any kind of salts on it, slice cross grain lightly rub steak by hand with garlic powder and peper corn both sides and fry fast but not to fast that it burns. Or you can take Worchester sauce in the palm of your hand mix with garlic in sauce rub this all over the steak, when I say rub just like you would with a turkey and butter. You can also let the steak soak over night in just about anything, but I do this when the steak is still froze, it thaws out in the frig over night in your sauce. Good luck.
