I want to cook scallops on the grill. Does anyone know a recipe?

I need to know how to know when they are done.I want to cook scallops on the grill. Does anyone know a recipe?
I just marinate mine in a little lime juice and olive oil and then spear them on bamboo skewers that have soaked in water..put them on hot grill...it honestly does not take long at all..you can tell when they are done because the color changes from translucent to solid white. Sometimes I wrap them in bacon and skewer themI want to cook scallops on the grill. Does anyone know a recipe?

season with salt and pepper

I can tell you from experience (8 years at Red Lobster) do not over cook them. You want them opaque in color when done. If you over cook them they will have a rubbery texture %26amp; not a good flavor at all.
